The Gartner Business Process Management Summit 2010 in London closed with Business Process Management confirmed as the business management tool sparking the most interest among business executives.

The Gartner Business Process Management Summit 2010 in London was attended by executives from over 20 countries representing a cross section of enterprises including many from the public and private sectors and a number of universities.

AuraPortal UK's stand played host to a large number of business executives from across Europe attracted by an interest in seeing the AuraPortal BPM suite. AuraPortal UK were able to demonstrate a system where the modelling process can be performed without the need to write a single line of code and where IT intervention can be limited to assisting with the integration with other applications. All of this is achieved by applying a SOA strategy, system maintenance and the creation of complex reports.

One of the most interesting presentations at the event was given by Janelle Hill, Research VP at Gartner, entitled Best Practices for Selecting a BPMS. Ms Hill highlighted the importance of requesting that potential suppliers participate in a pilot to demonstrate the ability of their BPMS to provide a solution for the client. In support of this approach, AuraPortal has for many years offered potential clients a “Real Life Test” where a complex process can be quickly and efficiently implemented using AuraPortal BPMS.
