Coca-Cola Ecuador (Ecuador Bottling Company) has a staff of almost 3,800 employees and is one the 10 most prestigious companies and with most business activity in Ecuador.

Pemex

Petroleos Mexicanos (PEMEX) is the largest company of Latin America and occupies number 31 in the ranking of the largest companies in the world.

PEMEX Exploration and Production occupies, at world level, the third place in terms of crude production, the first in production off the coast, the ninth in crude reserves and the twelfth in revenues. This was the first division inside of PEMEX that, starting in 2005, structured its general business processes and organized its departments with AuraPortal. The second one was the Corporate Administration in 2007. It is expected that PEMEX will extend this initiatives to the rest of its divisions in order to end up using AuraPortal as the standard BPMS for the whole corporation.

Yamaha

Yamaha Motor Spain is a company of the Yamaha Motor Company Ltd group.

It has most modern installations that cover 33.400 m², with an area of more than 100.000 m² in Palau-Solita i Plegamans (Barcelona). It is used for the manufacturing of motor bikes; commercialization of motorbikes, scooters, embarkations, outboard motors and intraboards, aquatic scooters, four wheel drives (ATV), golf carts, snow scooters, spare parts and accessories that are Yamaha originals.

Pepsico Group is the world leader in the sector of Food Consumers Products and occupies the position number 175 in the ranking of Fortune 500.

One of the Group's constituent company, Frito Lay is the snack vendor showing the fastest growth along the last years, being also the company that generates half the benefits of Pepsico Group. The subsidiary is present in 42 countries with more than 15 product brands.

The implementation of AuraPortal in Frito Lay Central America will make possible that all their offices and production centers in Central America be in constant online communication, participating in the company processes, (BPMS with Business Rules), aside from sharing information and documentation.

Toyota

TOYOTA Motor is the world leader company in car manufacturing, and nº 10 in Fortune’s 500 list of biggest companies in the world.

TOYOTA Spain has a Distributor Network of 240 centers, counting Authorized Dealer Retailers (DMA's) and Authorized Repairers (RA's). Toyota wanted to integrate those distributors within its Environmental Policy in order to improve their practices, optimizing its consumption and helping to comply with the current regulations and enhance the environmental image that TOYOTA wishes to project.

This project has been carried out by means of the Environmental Management System called GEATOYOTA (Efficient Environmental Management Toyota) developed and implemented by the international consultancy company Auren, using AuraPortal as the technological platform.

GEATOYOTA is a tool for planning, execution and control with which, as well as improving its good practices in environmental management, helps to guarantee the fulfillment of the law and optimizes the use of raw materials and energy as well as the costs derived from the management and treatment of the residues, spillages and emissions.

Eletrobras

Eletrobras (Centrais Eletricas Brasileiras S/A), is the largest company in the electric sector in Latin America.

As part of its program devoted to increase Electrobras operational efficiency, AuraPortal was selected to develop a system for the detection and solution of failures in electric systems.

This system, constructed with AuraPortal, was called BEExpert (Business Event Expert), integrating corporate BEM (Business Event Management) resources and CEP (Complex Event Processing). The BEExpert has a data collector that, using AuraPortal processes, intelligently detects and gives for each case the solution as configured by the process manager.

The unsurpassed flexibility of AuraPortal provides adequate response to all needs and objectives foreseen in Eletrobras program. Moreover, it is also being used for other processes automation not originally contemplated.

Arcelor Mittal

Arcelor Mittal is the world leader in the iron and steel sector. It occupies the 28th position in the Fortune 500 ranking with more than 311,000 employees. In Latin America, being also the leading company, Arcelor Mittal Brazil employs about 15,000 persons.

With AuraPortal, the ArcelorMittal Foundation has configured a management system called 'Ctrl-Cultura', that makes it possible for all the information to be accessible, in real time, by any member of the team involved in the management of projects, making it possible for them to attend faster to requests for the artistic-cultural acts that the Investment Program and Policy contemplates.

AuraPortal interacts with different local applications of the company, shaping a unique information infrastructure that is orchestrated using its BPM system.

Bristol-Myers-Squibb

Bristol Myers Squibb is the sixth Pharmaceutical Company in the world and appears as such in Fortune 500 list.

Its Colombia branch needed a powerful document handling system, including, not only a thorough access to all documents but also the automatic generation of reports showing with filter keys the received documents and the queries attended to. Consequently they were looking for a document-specific tool or for an own-programmed application.

However, when they evaluated document handling possibilities offered by AuraPortal they changed their initial plan and decided to deploy AuraPortal as a global solution for their Corporate Management.

The project has begun with the implementation of the Corporative Document Handling using BPMS, a new approach to understanding the document handling which is much more efficient and of which AuraPortal is a pioneer. The next step is the implementation of Purchase and Invoice Processes.

Saras

Saras SpA, founded in 1962 and based in Milan, is a leader company in production, distribution and commercialization of energy products.

Its Spanish affiliate, the petrochemical group SARAS ENERGIA S.A., with consolidated sales of about one thousand million euros, was born in 2001 after the fusion of Continental Oil and Saroil, two petrochemical operators in Spain since the decade of the 90's.

They selected AuraPortal as the BPMS tool -after an extensive comparative analysis among the most well known BPMS vendors in the world- due to its unique feature of 'really' not requiring any programming code for developing and executing processes.

Ministerio de Defensa

At present in process of restructuration, the Central Laboratory Chemical of Arms -LQCA- (Ministry of Defense) forms part of the Technological Institute The Maranosa -ITM-, a reference center for I+D+i for Defense matters. El LQCA is one of the Technological Centers that make up the present ITM, where experimental projects and advice and support are carried out, as well as I+D+i projects of the Ministry of Defense.

One of the difficulties that come with I+D+i Projects is their control due to the continuous evolution of the technology and the chaotic components carried on by the changing needs in the world of Security and Defense today. This situation called for a sound improvement in the organization of projects and in consequence AuraPortal was installed.

At present, E&Q Engineering (AuraPortal BPMS partner) together with the responsible of the Center is working on the design and implementation of a process map in the area of the Investigation Projects in progress. The competitive advantage of AuraPortal in comparison with other tools that need advanced programming (more resources and more time), reside in the immediacy and simplicity for designing, execution and monitoring processes with the BPM.

Carrefour

Carrefour Group is the second distribution company in the world and occupies the number 25 in the ranking of the largest companies in the world.

Servicios Financieros Carrefour E.F.C., S.A. (Financial Services Carrefour E.F.C., S.A.) manages the services and products associated to the pay cards Pass Visa, counting on two million Pass cards. Also, it controls marketing personal loans and credits to the consumer.

The increase in volume of the activity made advisable the implementation of BPMS technology instead of an enlargement in staff. It also represented an improvement in information flow, allowing to take decisions in real time.

The bet on AuraPortal was based on its exclusive characteristic of not needing any programming for the design and execution of processes and their later optimization, with a great saving in time and costs.
